"I stopped aspiring to be like him that day --...
I had this really brilliant professor in college.  Just brilliant.  And he was a great guy too. He was kind, patient, and a really great teacher.  He was someone I admired and aspired to be like some day. One day, he made an off hand comment about how humans will never — ever — travel faster than light because of Relativity.  He said it was impossible.  I was pretty disappointed....
